The MCom Banking and Technology is a 2-year program offered by the Department of Commerce.
ELIGIBILITY
Duration: 2 years (4 semesters).
Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
Qualification: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Admissions
General/Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and there is no entrance test.
Note: Candidates can apply either under General Category or Foreign/NRI Category. Those submitting applications under both General and Foreign/NRI categories will be considered only under General Category. Change of category at a later stage will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Foreign/NRI Category: A separate merit list of the applicants under the Foreign/NRI category will be prepared based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and those selected for admission will be informed separately.
Bachelor’s in Computer Application-BCA
Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a relatively new stream of applied sciences. As the hardware and software technologies are constantly evolving, the nature of applications that utilize these technologies are changing as well and there is an ever increasing scope to develop and enhance these applications.
Eligibility for BCA Degree Admission
Candidates should have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalents with science streams.Vocational candidates with Computer subjects are also eligible.
Candidates seeking admission to the first year BCA must have passed in the two year Pre University Examination conducted by the Karnataka Pre-University Board or any other examination conducted by any other Board(+2) recognized by Bangalore University.
For candidates who have passed Intermediate examination, aggregate marks obtained for all the subjects (excluding the first and second languages) will be considered.
CBSE & ICSE students have to pass English and other subjects.
For international students, equivalent pre qualification recognized by Bangalore University and/or approved by Government of India/ Government of Karnataka will be considered.
